Privacy policy

This covers personal data held by the business. What the VPN service itself records is a separate and shorter document — see the logging policy.

Draft — this document is pending review by counsel and is not yet binding.

01

Who we are

Sable operates the VPN service described on this site. The registered entity and contact address will be published here once incorporation is complete.

02

What we collect

An email address, so we can reach you about your account. Payment records, because we are required to keep them. Support messages you send us. Connection metadata as described in the logging policy, deleted weekly.

03

What we don't collect

Your name is not required. A postal address is not required. Nothing about your browsing is recorded at any point.

04

Why we're allowed to hold it

To perform the contract you entered when you subscribed, and to meet tax and accounting obligations afterwards.

05

Who else sees it

The payment processor, which handles card details so that we never hold them. Nobody else. We do not sell data and we do not run third-party analytics.

06

How long we keep it

Account and billing data for as long as you have an account, plus the retention period tax law requires. Connection metadata for seven days. Support tickets for two years.

07

Your rights

Ask for a copy of what we hold, ask for corrections, ask for deletion. Deletion ends the service. We answer within thirty days and we don't charge for it.

08
